Humankind will never learn it seems

Okay, now the lesson we need to learn is that nuclear power, as we currently practice it, doesn't work.  I mean, come on, that half-life thing?  You call that "clean power"?

We've had Three Mile Island, here in the States.  Then we had the nightmare that was Chernobyl.  And now we have the two--at minimum--reactors in Japan, blowing up, melting down and who knows what all.

Japan is one of the most earthquake- and so tsunami-prone places on the planet and now we're reaping what we sow.

This is yet more powerful, positive proof, to me anyway and, I think, to a lot of us, that solar power and energy, especially through photovoltaic cells, but also from panels that heat water for our homes and offices, is the way to go.

We need jobs and we need this technology.  The US and the rest of the world needs to get on this.

And as soon as possible.

More, later today on the "we'll/they'll never learn" department.
