Yet more bad press for Kansas and Kansans

The latest from The Daily Kos: Kansas legislature contemplates allowing (and requiring) doctors to lie to women. (link at bottom). The story: "The sweeping anti-abortion bill working its way through the Kansas Legislature would levy a sales tax on women seeking abortions, including rape victims." You know, it's one thing to believe in a cause and to believe in it deeply but there is a point at which doing things for your cause is going too far. In this case, going far too far. Heads up to Kansas Republican legislators: abortions are legal in the US. They have been since the 1970's. No one is crazy about them and yes, it would be better if there are less so a) why don't you promote "Plan B" or "morning after" pills so abortions can be utterly avoided and b) why don't you stop demagoguing this issue? Y'all are sick. Do good things for the state of Kansas. Promote jobs and improving the economy, for pity's sake. Stop being "Johnny-one-notes." You've done all you need to do on this one issue. Move on. Link: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/03/09/1072878/-Kansas-legislature-contemplates-allowing-and-requiring-doctors-to-lie-to-women?via=blog_1
